Procedure

To a crude solution of 3-2 (25 mg, 0.05 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (1 mL) was added Et3N (0.02 mL, 0.14 mmol) and amine (11 mg, 0.09 mmol) and the reaction stirred overnight. The reaction was simply concentrated and purification was conducted by reverse phase column chromatography (CH3CN/H2O/0.1% TFA gradient). 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) rotamers δ 7.30-6.80 (m, 7H), 6.10 (s, 1H), 5.58 (br s, 1H), 4.08 (m, 1H), 3.58 (m, 2H), 3.46 (s, 3H), 3.30 (m, 1H), 2.90 (m, 2H), 2.58 (m, 2H), 2.38 (s, 3H), 1.90 (s, 3H), 1.00 (m, 1H); MS 430.4 observed, 430.5 required (M+H+).
