Combine (4-{7-[4-(4-methyl-piperazine-1-carbonyl)-phenyl]-imidazo[1,2-a]pyridin-3-yl}-benzyl)-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (0.87 g, 1.65 mmol), 4N HCl in 1,4-dioxane (15 mL, 60 mmol) in 1,4-dioxane (35 mL) and stir overnight (16 hours). Concentrate slurry to a residue. Dissolve residue in methanol (50 mL) and concentrate to afford the title compound (0.90 g, 100%). MS(ES), m/z 426 (M+1 for free base).
