Procedure

The 1-2(methoxyethyl)-4-phenylimidazolidin-2-thione product of Example VII in the amount of 0.78 g is suspended in 50 ml concentrated aqueous hydrochloric acid and maintained with stirring at 70°-75° C. for four hours. The solution is then cooled to room temperature and diluted with 50 ml water.
