Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared as described in Step 2 of Example A(22) where 4-Bromo-2-isopropyl-phenol from step 1, was substituted in place of 4-Bromo-2-ethyl-phenol. 1H NMR (CDCl3): δ 1.20 (d, 6H, J=7.1 Hz), 2.32 (s, 3H), 2.98 (m, 1H), 6.88 (d, 1H, J=8.6 Hz), 7.31 (dd, 1H, J=8.6, 2.3 Hz), 7.41 (d, 1H, J=2.5 Hz).
