PROCEDURE

实验过程

A slurry of 2-chloro-5-cyclopentyl-5-hydroxy-3-oxo-non-8-ynoic acid methyl ester (6.0 g, 20 mmol) from Step 3 above and K2CO3 (11 g, 80 mmol) in methanol (100 mL) was stirred at 50° C. for 1.5 hours. The reaction was concentrated by rotary evaporation, and then re-dissolved in ethyl acetate. The solution was washed with water, and then saturated Na2CO3. The organic layer was dried over sodium sulfate. After removing the solids by filtration, the organic layer was concentrated by rotary evaporation to yield the desired product (5.24 g, 97% yield).
