Reaction Steps
3.50 g (30.4 mmol) 4-oxacaprolactam are heated to 55° C. in 3.90 ml (41.1 mmol) dimethylsulphate with stirring for 19 h. Then the mixture is evaporated down i. vac., and the residue is taken up twice in toluene and dichloromethane and completely concentrated by evaporation. The residue is further reacted directly.
