Operation is carried out similarly to the description of Example 5 with the difference that 2-(1-methylpiperidin-3-yl)3H-imidazo [4,5-b] pyridine is reacted with benzylchloride to obtain 3-benzyl-2-(1-methylpiperidin-3-yl)-3H-imidazo [4,5-b] pyridine as an oil, after purification by chromatography on silicagel column (CHCl3 -CH3OH 9:1).
