Procedure
Reaction of dehydroepiandrosterone with 1-methylcyclopropylamine according to the procedure described in Example 1 gives 17-(1-methylcyclopropylimino)androst-5-en-3β-ol. This is then reduced with sodium borohydride according to the procedure in Example 2 to give 17β-(1-methylcyclopropylamino)androst-5-en-3β-ol.
