To a solution of tert-butyl 4-(2-fluoro-5-((4-oxo-3,4-dihydrophthalazin-1-yl)methyl)benzoyl)piperazin-1-carboxylate (100 mg, 0.21 mmol) in DCM (20 ml) was added TFA (0.5 ml) and stirred for 6 h at room temperature. The reaction mixture was concentrated under vacuo to yield the crude product as a yellow solid, used in next step without further purification.
