As described in Example 1, 83 mg of [1-(tert-butoxycarbonylamino-methyl)-6,7-dimethoxy-isoquinolin-4-yl]-acetic acid was coupled with benzyl-methyl-amine to give 69 mg of {4-[(benzyl-methyl-carbamoyl)-methyl]-6,7-dimethoxy-isoquinolin-1-ylmethyl}-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester. MS: APCI (M+H) calc'd for C27H33N3O5+H 480.6; found 480.0.
