Procedure
Dihydropyran (60 μL, 0.66 mmol) and PPTs (11 mg, 0.045 mmol) were added to a solution of 5-3 (81 mg, 0.32 mmol) in dichloromethane (1.2 mL). After overnight stirring, the reaction was washed with 1 M HCl, saturated NaHCO3 solution and brine. The organic layer was dried (Na2SO4), filtered and evaporated. Purification of the residue by flash chromatography on silica gel (Isco Combiflash unit) gave the title compound (100 mg, 93%).
