Reaction Steps

The product from example 191K (0.11 g, 0.28 mmole) was dissolved in dioxane (2 mL), then added 4N HCl/dioxane (1 mL). The resulting solid mass is stirred 30 minutes at room temperature. The solvent is removed in vacuo leaving a tan solid as the title compound as a mixture of isomers (0.092 g) which stored under vacuum overnight.
