The title compound is prepared from 4-ethynyl-4-methyl-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester and 2-chloro-5-hydroxy-4-iodo-pyridine following a procedure analogous to that described for Intermediate 5. LC (method 4): tR=1.76 min; Mass spectrum (ESI+): m/z=351/353 (Cl) [M+H]+.
