Procedure
A THF/MeOH/water (8 ml/8 ml/3 ml) solution containing the intermediate from Step F (790 mg, 1.98 mmol) and lithium hydroxide monohydrate (406 mg, 9.90 mmol) was stirred overnight at room temperature. The solution was concentrated and the nonvolatile portion was partitioned between aqueous 2N hydrochloric acid and EtOAc. The organic phase was dried over Na2SO4, filtered and concentrated to give the title compound. 1H NMR (500 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 7.90 (d, J=8.2 Hz, 2 H); 7.39 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 2 H); 7.36 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 2H); 7.26 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 2 H); 5.36-5.26 (m, 1 H); 4.71-4.60 (m, 2 H); 2.94-2.84 (m, 2 H); 2.13-2.07 (m, 1 H); 1.95-1.87 (m, 1 H); 1.42-1.34 (m, 1 H); 1.19-1.11 (m, 1 H); 0.85-0.77 (m, 2 H); 0.60 (t, J=7.3 Hz, 3 H).
