A solution of the compound ethyl 2-(4-methyl-3-(3-methylbut-2-enyloxy)phenylamino)oxazole-4-carboxylate (42 mg, 0.13 mmol) in anhydro THF (1 mL) was added to a suspension of LiAlH4 (10 mg, 0.25 mmol) in dry THF (1 mL) cooled at 0° C. under nitrogen atmosphere. After 2 h, the reaction mixture was quenched with H2O, filtrated, dried over MgSO4 and concentrated. The title compound was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel (hexane:EtOAc 1/1) to afford the product (13 mg, 34% yield).
