Methyl [2-fluoro-4-(2-{(1S,2R)-2-[1-(5-methoxypyrimidin-2-yl)piperidin-4-yl]cyclopropyl}ethoxy)phenyl]acetate (1.41 g, 3.28 mmol) was dissolved in MeOH (15 ml) and sodium hydroxide (5 M, 3.18 ml, 15.9 mmol) was added. The mixture was stirred at RT for 1 h and neutralized to pH 5 with 5 M HCl (5 ml), extracted with EtOAc (50 ml). The organic phase was dried over MgSO4, and evaporated to afford the title compound. LC/MS (m/z): 430 (M+H)+.
