1-(6-Ethanesulfonyl-5-fluoro-3,3-dimethyl-2,3-dihydro-indol-1-yl)-ethanone (160 mg, 0.53 mmol) was treated with hydrochloric acid (5 M, 1.1 mL) following similar methods to those described in Preparation 66 to give the title compound (80 mg). MS: [M+H]+ 258.
