3,3-Dimethyl-6-(2-oxo-pyrrolidin-1-yl)-2,3-dihydro-pyrrolo[3,2-c]pyridine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (100 mg) was treated with HCl (saturated solution in EtOAc) and stirred for 4 h. The mixture was then evaporated to dryness in vacuo to give the title compound as a pale yellow solid. MS: [M+H]+=232.
