Following similar methods to those described in Preparation 335 using 6-bromo-3-methyl-3-pyridin-2-yl-2,3-dihydro-1H-indole (1.2 g, 4.1 mmol), acetyl chloride (360 μL, 5 mmol) and TEA (721 μL, 5 mmol) gave the title compound as a pale yellow oil. MS: [M+H]+=331.
