Tert-butyl 4-[6-(2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-1-[(2-ethyl-2H-tetrazol-5-yl)methyl]-2,4-dioxo-1,4-dihydrothieno[3,2-d]pyrimidin-3(2H)-yl]piperidine-1-carboxylate (331 mg, compound B58) and a solution of hydrogen chloride in 1,4-dioxane (1.4 ml+0.9 ml, 4.0 M) in 1,4 dioxane (20 ml) are reacted according to the procedure described in example B79 to afford the title compound.
