A solution of the title compound of step 4 (polar diastereomer) (250 mg, 0.94 mmol) and Hünig's base (169 μl, 1.0 mmol) in abs. dichloromethane (10 mL) was mixed with cinnamic acid chloride (166 mg 1.0 mmol) and stirred for 24 h at RT. The organic solution was washed with saturated NaHCO3 solution and saturated NaCl solution, dried over Na2SO4, concentrated to low volume in a vacuum and the remaining residue was purified by flash chromatography with ethyl acetate/MeOH 4:1.
