The title compound was prepared analogously to 1-(2-chloro-4-methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole-4-carboxylic acid (Example step 2) by replacing 2-chloro-4-methoxyaniline (step 1) with 2-chloro-4-trifluoromethoxyaniline.
