LC-MS showed the product had the expected M+H+ of 500. 1H NMR (Varian 300 MHz, CD3OD, shifts relative to the solvent peak at 3.3 ppm) δ 8.3 (d, 1H), 8.1 (d, 1H) 7.7 (d, 1H) 7.5 (t, 1H), 7.3 (m, 2H), 7.25 (m, 3H), 7.20 (d, 1H), δ 4.6 (s, 2H), δ 3.3 (t, 2H), 3.09 (s, 3H), δ 3.04 (m, 7H), 2.0 (m, 4H).
