A mixture of 3-chloro-5-(1H-pyrazol-4-yl)isoquinoline (Preparation 3, 28 mg, 0.122 mmol), 2-chloro-N,N-dimethylethanamine hydrochloride (35.1 mg, 0.244 mmol) and K2CO3 (50.5 mg, 0.366 mmol) in DMF (4 mL) was stirred at 190° C. under microwave irradiation for 90 minutes.
