Procedure

To a solution of 7 (0.13 g, 0.275 mmol) in methanol (3 mL) was added Pd/C (26 mg, 20% w/w) under N2 atmosphere. Then the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature under H2 pressure (bladder) for 16 h. It was filtered through celite bed and the filtrate was concentrated to give 8 (0.10 g, 82%) as green solid.
