To a stirred solution of compound F4 (450 mg, 2.00 mmol) in anhydrous tetrahydrofuran (10 mL) at room temperature under nitrogen was added a solution of compound F2 (402 mg, 2.40 mmol) in anhydrous methylene chloride (6 mL) dropwise over 3 min. Then the reaction mixture was stirred overnight at room temperature. The reaction mixture was filtered. The filter cake was washed with methylene chloride (5 mL) and then dried under reduced pressure to provide compound F5 as a white solid (301 mg, 38%): 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6) δ 10.94 (s, 1H), 10.12 (s, 1H), 7.48-6.75 (m, 5H), 3.45 (s, 2H), 2.77 (d, J=4.8 Hz, 2H), 2.65 (d, J=4.8 Hz, 2H), 2.55-2.45 (m, 2H), 2.30 (s, 3H), 1.07 (t, J=6.6 Hz, 3H).
