The mixture of 2,4-dichloropyrimidine (2.0 g, 13.5 mmol, 1.0 equiv.), EtOH (6 mL) and 3-cyclopropyl-1H-pyrazol-5-amine (20.3 g, 20.3 mmol, 1.5 equiv.) was stirred at room temperature for 8 h.
