To a solution of (S)-1-(2,6-difluoro-phenylcarbamoyl)-3,4-dihydro-1H-isoquinoline-2-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (50 mg, 129 μmol, Eq: 1.00) in CH2Cl2 (6 mL) was added TFA (2 mL) dropwise. The reaction was stirred at RT for 1 h. The mixture was evaporated to provide (S)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-isoquinoline-1-carboxylic acid (2,6-difluoro-phenyl)-amide trifluoroacetate which was used without further purification.
