Procedure
To 185 g of the dispersion of sulfonated monodisperse seed particles from Example 1, with a solids content equal to 1 g, was added 0.9 l of water, 452 g of resorcinol and 1355 g of 37% formaldehyde solution. The mixture was heated at 65° C. for 2.5 hours under stirring. To isolate the particles the same procedure was followed as in Example 5. The particle size obtained was also in this case 18 μm, reflecting the maximum swelling capacity of the seed particles.
