Procedure

1e (200 mg, 1.3 mmol) and HBpin (0.28 mL, 2.0 mmol) were used. Purification was performed by MPLC (chloroform/acetone = 1:0 to 19:1) to afford a mixture of 1e and 2e (NMR yield 12%). The mixture was purified again by MPLC (hexane/ether = 7:3 to 1:1) to afford 2e as a colorless oil.
