2.1 g of 4-pentafluoroethylbenzyl isothiocyanate and 0.78 g of 2,2,2-trifluoroethylamine were dissolved in 20 ml of ethyl acetate, and the solution was left to stand at room temperature for 24 hours. Ethyl acetate was evaporated under reduced pressure. The resulting white crystals were recrystallized from hexane to give 2.6 g of the captioned compound.
