Reaction Steps

To a solution of 2-Methyl-propane-2-sulfinic acid [(2-amino-5-bromo-phenyl)-phenyl-methyl]-methyl-amide (60 g, 152 mmol) in EtOAc/HCl (600 mL) is stirred at r.t. for 2 h. The mixture is concentrated and NaHCO3 is added to brought the PH>7, extracted with EtOAc. The organic layer is concentrated to give product. This is used in the next step without further purification.
