TFA (0.3 mL, 4 mmol) was added to a solution of tert-butyl 3-{3-[1-(4-amino-3-methyl-1H-pyrazolo[3,4-d]pyrimidin-1-yl)ethyl]-5-chloro-2-methoxy-6-methylphenyl}propanoate (35 mg, 0.076 mmol) in methylene chloride (0.2 mL) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 h. The solvent was removed and the product was used in the next step without further purification. LCMS calculated for C19H23ClN5O3 (M+H)+: m/z=404.1; Found: 404.0
