A solution of 4-[4-(4-bromo-3-trifluoromethoxy-phenylcarbamoyl)-piperazin-1-yl]-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (61.8 mg, 0.11 mmol) in 4 M of HCl in 1,4-dioxane (2.8 mL) was stirred at RT for 1 h to provide the title intermediate.
