Procedure
Lithium hydroxide (0.042 g, 1 mmol) was added to a solution of 22B1 (0.125 g, 0.25 mmol) in 6 mL of ethanol-water (3:1) mixture, and the reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 8 h. After the solvent was removed in vacuo, the residue was dissolved in water. The aqueous layer was acidified by addition of saturated solution of citric acid until pH 4 was attained. The resulting solution was cooled to 0° C., and solids obtained were filtered off and dried under vacuum to afford the title compound (0.105 g, 89%) as a solid. 1H NMR (300 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 12.4 (bs, 1H), 9.59 (s, 1H), 8.76 (d, J=2.7 Hz, 1H), 8.22 (dd, J1=2.7 Hz, J2=8.4 Hz, 1H), 8.11 (d, J=9.6 Hz, 1H), 8.05-7.97 (m, 3H), 7.25 (d, J=3.0 Hz, 1H), 7.23 (s, 1H), 3.15-2.95 (m, 3H), 2.84 (d, J=16.2 Hz, 1H), 2.78-2.65 (m, 1H), 2.58 (d, J=16.5 Hz, 1H), 2.46 (m, 1H), 2.43 (s, 3H), 2.19 (m, 1H). ESI-MS m/z: 471 (M+H)+; HPLC purity: 98%.
