N-((1-(3-(tetrazol-1-yl)propyl)piperidin-4-yl)methyl)-4-amino-5-chloro-2-methoxybenzamide (Example 2) (517 mg, 1.27 mmol) was dissolved in ethanol (10 mL) and a 12N hydrochloride solution (0.16 mL, 1.90 mmol) was added thereto. The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature for 12 hours and then filtered to afford the title compound (417 mg, 74%).
