Reaction Steps
By General Procedure A from ethyl 2-formylpyridine-4-carboxylate and 3-aminopropan-1-ol. Purification by column chromatography (0-5% MeOH in DCM) gave the title compound. 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3), δ ppm: 8.72 (d, 1H), 7.98 (s, 1H), 7.75 (d, 1H), 4.45 (q, 2H), 3.95 (s, 2H), 3.70 (t, 2H), 2.80 (t, 2H), 1.75 (m, 2H), 1.40 (t, 3H).
