This compound was prepared using a method analogous to that of 5-hydroxyfuro[2,3-c]pyridazine-6-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (A.2.3.1), 5-bromo-2-chloroisonicotinic acid ethyl ester replacing 3-chloropyridazine-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester. Purification by CC (KP-SIL™ from Biotage) using EtOAc/MeOH (9/1) gives the desired product as brown solid;
