Following General Procedure A2, 4-chloro-2-(3-chlorophenyl)-6-(trifluoromethyl)pyrimidine (0.100 g, 0.34 mmol) in NMP (3 mL) was reacted with 4-aminophenethyl alcohol (0.094 g, 0.68 mmol) to afford the title compound (0.044 g, 44%) as an off-white solid. MW=393.79. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 500 MHz) δ 10.20 (s, 1H), 8.30-8.25 (m, 2H), 7.78-7.56 (m, 4H), 7.29 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 2H), 7.07 (s, 1H), 4.64 (t, J=5.2 Hz, 1H), 3.66-3.60 (m, 2H), 2.74 (t, J=7.0 Hz, 2H); APCI MS m/z 394 [M+H]+.
