(E)-2-[2-(4-Methyl-tetrahydro-pyran-4-yl)-vinyl]-5-(2-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-1H-benzimidazole was prepared from the acid chloride of 3-(4-methyl-tetrahydro-pyran-4-yl)-acrylic acid (prepared as in STEP B above) and 3-nitro-2′-trifluoromethyl-biphenyl-4-ylamine (prepared as described in Example 3, STEP A) following the procedure as described in Example 8, STEP C.
