Procedure
A solution of 1,2-diphenyl-ethylamine (500 mg, 2.5 mmol) and 2-(4-bromo-phenyl)-5-methoxy-3,4-dihydro-2H-pyrrole (770 mg, 3.04 mmol) in isopropanol (3 mL) was stirred at 150° C. for 1 h under microwave irradiation (300 W). The resulting suspension was concentrated under reduced pressure. Flash column chromatography purification (NH2-modified SiO2, gradient of cyclohexane/ethyl acetate) of the residue yielded 580 mg (55%) of the desired product as a colorless solid.
