Procedure
A solution of 0.20 g (0.44 mmol) of [6-chloro-3-methyl-5-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyridin-2-yl]-(4-pyrrolidin-1-yl-piperidin-1-yl)-methanone (example 3) in 2.0 ml of DMF was treated with 0.099 g (1.52 mmol) of a sodium azide and the reaction mixture was heated up to 150° C. After 48 hours, it was poured into crashed ice and extracted twice with EtOAc; the organic phases were washed with water, dried over magnesium sulfate, filtered and evaporated. The residue was purified by flash column chromatography (CH2Cl2/MeOH 98:2 to 4:1) to give 0.095 g (47%) of the title compound as colorless oil. MS: 459.4 (MH−).
