To a mixture of compound N-(3-fluoro-4-(7-hydroxyquinolin-4-yloxy)phenyl)-1,5-di-methyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide (342 mg, 0.708 mmol) and (1-acetoxycyclopropyl)methyl methanesulfonate (1.77 mmol) in 5 mL of DMA was added Cs2CO3 (2.8 g, 8.85 mmol). After stirring at 40° C. for 1 day, the reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the residue was chromatographed on a silica gel column (50:1 (v/v) CH2Cl2/CH3OH) to give the title compound as a white solid (110 mg, 26%).
