Procedure
According to Scheme 18 Step 2: A solution of ethyl 2-(4-(5-methyl-2-(pyridin-2-ylamino)thiazol-4-yl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)acetate (87 μmol, 30 mg) and methylamine (0.26 mmol, 8.1 mg) in MeOH (4 mL) was heated at 60° C. for 4 hours. After evaporation, the crude product was purified by flash chromatography over silica gel using DCM/MeOH (100:0 to 90:10) as eluent to afford N-methyl-2-(4-(5-methyl-2-(pyridin-2-ylamino)thiazol-4-yl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)acetamide (40 μmol, 13 mg, 45%) as a white powder.
