100 mg (0.44 mmol) (2E)-2-[(6-fluoro-1H-indazol-5-yl)methylidene]-3-oxobutanenitrile (Example 13A) were treated with 3-methyl-1,2-oxazol-5-amine following the procedure described in Example 2. The crude material was purified by preparative RP-HPLC (methanol/water+0.1% TFA gradient) to yield 55 mg (41% of th.) of the racemic title compound.
