Procedure
A mixture of 1-(1-cyclopropylethyl)-4-methoxy-5-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)-2-oxo-1,2-dihydropyridine-3-carbonitrile obtained in Step C of Example 163 (22 mg), hydrazine monohydrate (18 mg) and ethanol (2 mL) was stirred at 90° C. for 1 hr. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature, and the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (basic silica gel, hexane/ethyl acetate). The residue was crystallized from ethyl acetate/hexane to give the title compound (13 mg).
