To a mixture of (2S,4R)-2-(3-chloro-2-fluoro-5-methoxycarbonyl-benzylcarbamoyl)-4-fluoro-pyrrolidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (140 mg, 0.3 mmol) in THF/MeOH/H2O 2:1:1 (4 mL) was added LiOH (7 mg, 0.3 mmol). The reaction mixture was stirred for 4 h at ambient temperature and the solvent was removed in vacuo to give the title compound which was used without further purification. MS (LC/MS): 319.0 [M−100]+. tR (HPLC conditions c): 4.40 min.
