To a mixture of (2S,4R)-2-(5-carboxy-3-chloro-2-fluoro-benzylcarbamoyl)-4-fluoro-pyrrolidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (146 mg, 0.3 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (4 mL) was added TFA (1 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred for 1 h at ambient temperature and the solvent was removed in vacuo to give the title compound which was used without further purification. tR (HPLC conditions c): 3.11 min.
