Procedure

To a mixture of {3-chloro-2-fluoro-5-[(2-methoxy-ethyl)-methyl-amino]-benzyl}-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (60 mg, 0.17 mmol) in MeOH (2 mL) was added a solution of 4N HCl in dioxane (2 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred for 1 h at ambient temperature and the solvent was removed in vacuo to give the title compound. MS (LC/MS): 247.0 [M]+. tR (HPLC conditions c): 3.15 min.
