Reaction Steps
As starting materials for the coupling reaction menadione and 2,5-dimethoxyphenylacetic acid were used. Synthesis is realized according to the general procedure described in general procedure of example 1. After chromatography on silica gel (petroleum ether:CH2Cl2=1:3, UV), 1.96 g (6.08 mmol, 80% yield) of P_TM60 were isolated as yellow solid.
